That's just crazy talk!

Well we are back from the Virgin Islands. Both Phil and I had a WONDERFUL vacation and the wedding was beautiful. Here are a few of the many pictures we took.

Tomorrow around 7pm I will be on a beautiful island that looks exactly like the picture above! I'll be in the US Virgin Islands!!! I'm so excited I can't even stand it. I have 20 more minutes here at work and then I will be off for a full 7 days. How awesome is that? PRETTY DAMN AWESOME!! :) :)

Today has been very irritating... I have a million things to do and not enough time to do them in. On my lunch I called my school for the hundredth time to get my financial aid crap figured out and guess what, they were not available! What a frickin' surprise there! So, I left a message and hopefully they will call me back tonight because I need to get this all taken care of before I leave on Wednesday. After that phone call I had to call the airport, which I dread. I actually didn't have to stay on hold for very long until I got a real person! I asked her to change my flight schedule so I could be on the same flight as Jewells and we went through the whole process and when we got to the end of it we got disconnected. Cool. The process took me about 20 minutes and it was all wasted. So I call back and of course I get a totally different person who has no idea what I need and I have to explain my situation AGAIN! All is good though because she got our flights changed and we can now stick with Jewells and Max. :) I guess 40 minutes of talking to people with heavy accents was worth it in the end... We will not be getting to our destination 2 hours earlier. :) yay!

I also decided to call Phil on my lunch and turns out he is having a pretty rotten day as well. He found out that his 91 year old grandma has to get her leg amputated. The doctors are not going to put her down for this because she may not wake up due to her age. :( The whole thing apparently is very risky anyways and she may not make it. :(:( I really like his granny too. She so sweet and she is always bugging me and Phil to get married and make some babies. I hope all goes good with her surgery! Phil and I might drive up to see her tomorrow if we can but it is a 3 hour drive.

This day is never ending.... I have four days off after today for Thanksgiving and I'm excited so it is taking FOREVER. I'm really excited for the day after Thanksgiving shopping!!! I hope I find everything I'm looking for. I want to get Phil's birthday present done and his x-mas present done. And them maybe find some things for myself of course! :)

I suppose I should get back to work now. 1 hour, 15 minutes to go.....

I haven't written a blog for a couple weeks because I have been very busy! Every weekend for the past couple weeks has been completely booked and until after x-mas, I'm still pretty booked. Last weekend was my birthday. My friends and I went out for dinner at the Olive Garden and then we went out to the Dive. We had a pretty good time! The next night my friend Rachel had a Halloween party. That was a fun weekend! This weekend I have a poker party to go to and then my friend's 2nd bridal shower. The next weekend will be a blast! Jewells and I are going to the Coldplay concert on Friday!!! We have been waiting for Coldplay for years!!! I'm sooo damn excited I could pee myself! Not really, it's just a saying guys. After the concert we will have the bachelorette party!! I just know we are going to have a blast!


Lets see... what else is new... Well remember I told you guys that I got my dog neutered? Well ever since we got him neutered we have been coming home to a mess. It is either a shoe, stuffing from a toy he ripped up, paper towels, or my friend's beautiful wallet (sorry friend!!) that is chewed up and spread across my living room floor. I think he does this because he is mad at us for leaving him all day while we go to work. That is no excuse though! He is almost a year old! He shouldn't be doing this anymore.

I have my boyfriends birthday coming up and I have no idea what to get him. I have never been stumped before but I am now. He loves electronics but everything I could get him costs way too much money. I'm broke. You can't buy him games for his x-box, dvds, cds or anything like that because he already has all that. He doesn't like when I buy him clothes. I don't know. I'm stumped. Help?!

So I have decided to go back to college! That is my final decision and I'm not going to back down again! I haven't decided on where I want to go yet though. I've been researching colleges around my location and what they offer. I think the best thing for me would be online classes. It makes things much easier. Not every college offers a whole degree online. However I found three that I'm interested in: Globe University has a bachelor's program online; National American University also has a bachelor's program online; and Chippewa Valley Tech which only has an associates degree online. Do I go for the associates and finish in two years or go for the bachelors degree and finish in about 4 years? There are plenty of benefits for both. I think that the bachelors degree would be better for the future though because I could make more money. BUT I would have to put off buying a house for another 4 years! That is a huge sacrifice! I've wanted a house soo bad but we can't afford it right now. We wouldn't be able to afford it until I get a better job, which won't happen until I'm done with school. :( I'm planning on calling these colleges this week to see what they can offer me and find out costs. This is very stressful business!

Don't you hate it when you are reading a really good book and you finally get to the good part, the "sex" scene, and you get interrupted and can't go back to the book until many hours later that night! Well, that is what happened to me yesterday. I was reading my book (Perfect by Judith McNaught) on my lunch break and I was so excited to finally get to the sex scene. Right when I got to the good part I looked up at the clock and noticed that I had to go back to work! Then when I finally get home that night and started to read my book again, the boyfriend decides he wants attention and he interrupts me! Can't a women get a little "me" time here!? So I paid some attention to him and then told him to go away. So I finally get back to my book and then the dogs start up. Now I'm interrupted for the 3rd time! They come bring me their loudest toy that rattles and they shake it right on top of me until I throw it for them. Obviously, when I throw it they come back for more. "sigh" Maybe I will get some peace and quiet tonight?

Next year on this very same day the date will be 9/9/09. Doesn't that sound like the perfect day for a wedding!! I have always wished to get married in the fall. It is my favorite season because there is just so much beauty! I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years and about 4 months and I think it's time to get married and start having some babies! The problem is that he doesn't feel the need to be in a hurry! So I'm just waiting and waiting and hoping that maybe at this time next year, I will be getting married...

Life is complicated. That is one thing I know to be true! When I think about the future my mind goes a million miles per hour. There are so many things that I want to do and accomplish. One major thing on my mind right now is MONEY! That is probably one of the top 5 things on everyones mind isn't it! I don't feel like I need to be rich to have happiness or anything but I wish that I could feel secure and not have to worry month to month about paying the bills! I want to be able to buy a house within a year and I don't think that can happen with my budget and my income. The longer I can't afford a house, the longer I am going to waste my money away on rent! I don't think I can get a better job right now unless I go back to school OR I wait it out at my job and hope to get a promotion. That is a tough choice that I don't know how to make. What should I do? Should I spend a ton of money and go back to college and get a degree as a paralegal? OR should I work for a couple years where I am at and hope to get a promotion from a receptionist to a paralegal? The second choice would be a gamble but I know it can be done if I work hard and someone else quits. "sigh" I've been going back and forth on that for a while and still don't know what to do...

On Friday Phil and I went to my Mom's house to visit her and my sister, Jakielynn. She lives about 3 hours away. We left at the wrong time because we hit traffic bad. I think it took us probably four and a half yours to get there with stopping twice! The fact that it was Labor day weekend probably didn't help much either! So we got there at about 7:30 at night and hung out and had some dinner. I was exhausted from the stressful drive so we ended up going to bed by 10 pm! I spent the next morning playing with my beautiful sister. She is almost 8 months old now! My mom was 45 when she got pregnant with her. She was obviously an oops but a perfect oops!!! She was a little blessing for all of us. :)

After we lounged around for half the morning we decided to go find some garage sales! I hit the jackpot! I found 3 shirts, a book holder, a jewelry box, a cute jar and a pair of shoes all for just $3!!! The shoes were brand new, never worn and they were .25! I also found a really pretty coffee table for only $75 but I wouldn't have had a way to get it home or a place to put it when I got home! So it stayed at the garage sale... :(

Well, that was my weekend! Now we are relaxing at home and enjoying the rest of the weekend off of work. :) Here are some pics of Jackielynn.

First of all, let me tell you a little about my boyfriend. He likes to buy random crap and take it apart and make it do something it wasn't made to do. It's one of his hobbies. He is really smart and he surprises me sometimes with the weirdest things he comes up with!

So the other day he wanted to buy a scooter at Walmart because it was like 65% off and he wanted to take it apart and make a bike or something out of it. Now at first when he told me about his "plan" I didn't really care. I said "hunny, it's your money and it is your hobby, do what you want." It didn't take long because on Friday it ended up in our driveway. When he got home he asked me if I wanted to take it for a spin. I gave in and said "ok, lets do it". I got on and started cruising around and it was a blast!!! Now keep in mind that this scooter isn't really for adults. It is more for children so I look pretty funny driving it around. Not quite as funny as he looked though! The thing only goes about 15 miles per hour with me on it but it is still a blast! So now after I got to drive the thing all over, I don't want him to take it apart and ruin it! I want him to beef it up and make it go faster!!! It reminds me of my childhood. Brings back memories of my brother and I cruising around on our 4 wheelers all summer long. He is not sure what he wants to do with it yet but I'm going to take advantage of it until it works no more!

Finally I bring some photos to my blog! I will probably talk about these people and dogs a lot so here are some pictures so you can see who I'm talking about!

Well I've never started a blog before so this is all new to me! I actually don't really know what I'm doing. I have never even read a blog until my friend Jewells got one. After she got a blog she kept twisting my finger to start one so she finally gets her wish! Here it is Jewells! I think she just wanted me to start one so she would have some more entertainment while she is at work. I sat here thinking of a name for my blog for about 10 minutes and then it just popped into my head. I'm not even sure where it came from!

So what am I supposed to talk about on here? Do I talk about myself? What I did during the day? Well, I guess I can start there! I spent almost my whole day at work folding client's bills and stuffing them in envelopes. It was getting very old after a couple of hours of doing it. I'm sure you would say the same if you had to do it! I didn't even get them all done! That means that the poor people who will be getting these bills will just have to wait another day! I work at a law office so some of the bills can be quite high! As I'm folding and stuffing I kinda feel bad for the person on the other end! I have always wondered what people think when they mail you your energy bill or your internet bill. Do they feel sorry for you like I do? Or do they laugh at the fact that you have to give them money. Or I guess they just don't think anything... but what is the fun in that!

Well, it's time to go make some dinner! My boyfriend is getting annoyed at me because I'm not helping him pick out something to make. He is probably more annoyed at the fact that I want him to cook it! haha
