So I have decided to go back to college! That is my final decision and I'm not going to back down again! I haven't decided on where I want to go yet though. I've been researching colleges around my location and what they offer. I think the best thing for me would be online classes. It makes things much easier. Not every college offers a whole degree online. However I found three that I'm interested in: Globe University has a bachelor's program online; National American University also has a bachelor's program online; and Chippewa Valley Tech which only has an associates degree online. Do I go for the associates and finish in two years or go for the bachelors degree and finish in about 4 years? There are plenty of benefits for both. I think that the bachelors degree would be better for the future though because I could make more money. BUT I would have to put off buying a house for another 4 years! That is a huge sacrifice! I've wanted a house soo bad but we can't afford it right now. We wouldn't be able to afford it until I get a better job, which won't happen until I'm done with school. :( I'm planning on calling these colleges this week to see what they can offer me and find out costs. This is very stressful business!

These next few months are going to fly by! In October, we have my friend Jewell's bridal shower. I'm so excited for her!!! Her mom is planning the shower so it won't be stressful on my end! I just need to help with the invitations and help get everything set up! A week after the bridal shower is my 23rd birthday! Yay! :D My friends and I plan on going out dancing! I can't wait! My birthday is on Halloween so I'm contemplating on whether I want to dress up or not. I'm sure I will. The next day my friend Rachel might be having a Halloween party. I guess I'll be having a fun weekend! Two nights in a row of friends, drinking, and having fun! In November, my friend Jewells and I are going to the Coldplay concert! We have been waiting for this concert for years! The day after the concert is Jewell's bachlorette party! I'm the maid of honor so I'm planning this shindig. I am going to try my darnedest to make this a night she will never forget! I don't have all the details planned yet, just the main plan. We have the hotel, the restaurant and the places that we will shake our butts off at. I can't go into details about anything though because Jewells will read my blog! I guess you will have to wait to see the pictures after the night is over! After the bach party, I have my boyfriends birthday. I'm sure we will go out and celebrate that too. In December, we have Jewell's wedding! We will be going to the caribbean!!! I'm soooo excited! Soon I will have to start thinking of my speech (scary). After we get back from the caribbean we will have the reception. After that, I just have Christmas! Then my life should calm back down to the norm.

Don't you hate it when you are reading a really good book and you finally get to the good part, the "sex" scene, and you get interrupted and can't go back to the book until many hours later that night! Well, that is what happened to me yesterday. I was reading my book (Perfect by Judith McNaught) on my lunch break and I was so excited to finally get to the sex scene. Right when I got to the good part I looked up at the clock and noticed that I had to go back to work! Then when I finally get home that night and started to read my book again, the boyfriend decides he wants attention and he interrupts me! Can't a women get a little "me" time here!? So I paid some attention to him and then told him to go away. So I finally get back to my book and then the dogs start up. Now I'm interrupted for the 3rd time! They come bring me their loudest toy that rattles and they shake it right on top of me until I throw it for them. Obviously, when I throw it they come back for more. "sigh" Maybe I will get some peace and quiet tonight?

Fleas are the devil!

Look at this ugly, disgusting little varmint! They think they have conquered me and my family but they haven't! First they bite your precious dogs, who DON'T deserve it! Next, they go after your whole house! Finally, they try to go after you! I was NOT about to let that happen. We realized the dogs had fleas a couple days ago. It is hard to admit, but it is true. It makes me feel like a bad mother. :(
Right away we bought a bunch of flea killer stuff. We bought flea and tick shampoo, flea collars, Frontline flea killer and last but not least, flea bombs! So the first night we found them we washed the dogs down with flea shampoo and put their collars on. The next day we flea bombed the house. Just so you all know, flea bombing a house is NOT my cup of tea. First you have to take out all of your dishes and food and anything that you use to cook food on. Then you have to vacuum the entire house and put flea spray on the carpets, clothes, couches, etc. Then you are ready to bomb the little devils. Just remember that if you ever have to do this, remove all smoke detectors. Haha These are smoke bombs! My boyfriend was the one who bombed the place and he forgot about that little bit of information. He bombed the house and then the smoke alarms when off. Haha I can just picture him now, running inside the house, ripping the smoke detectors off the walls. Anyways, now we are to the clean up stage which consists of washing everything in the house. My washer and dryer are working overtime today! I just wonder where the stupid little varmints came from. Why would they want to hurt my little babies?

Next year on this very same day the date will be 9/9/09. Doesn't that sound like the perfect day for a wedding!! I have always wished to get married in the fall. It is my favorite season because there is just so much beauty! I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years and about 4 months and I think it's time to get married and start having some babies! The problem is that he doesn't feel the need to be in a hurry! So I'm just waiting and waiting and hoping that maybe at this time next year, I will be getting married...

Life is complicated. That is one thing I know to be true! When I think about the future my mind goes a million miles per hour. There are so many things that I want to do and accomplish. One major thing on my mind right now is MONEY! That is probably one of the top 5 things on everyones mind isn't it! I don't feel like I need to be rich to have happiness or anything but I wish that I could feel secure and not have to worry month to month about paying the bills! I want to be able to buy a house within a year and I don't think that can happen with my budget and my income. The longer I can't afford a house, the longer I am going to waste my money away on rent! I don't think I can get a better job right now unless I go back to school OR I wait it out at my job and hope to get a promotion. That is a tough choice that I don't know how to make. What should I do? Should I spend a ton of money and go back to college and get a degree as a paralegal? OR should I work for a couple years where I am at and hope to get a promotion from a receptionist to a paralegal? The second choice would be a gamble but I know it can be done if I work hard and someone else quits. "sigh" I've been going back and forth on that for a while and still don't know what to do...
