Things I love…

He treats me very good, buys me flowers for no reason, fixes my computer, my car, or whatever is broken, he cooks me food, he is just wonderful! I’m so excited for what will come in our future. I can’t wait to marry him and have lots of babies and I can’t wait to buy our first house together!
Our babies- Vader and Precious… oh what can I say besides I love them to death! Since we have no real kids yet, these are our kids. The hardest part of the morning is when I have to say goodbye to my babies. But the best part of the day is when I get to come home and hear them crying (happy crying) when they hear us pull up in the driveway when we get home from work. Sometimes I just want to kick their ass because they peed on the carpet or chewed up my purse or shoe but I love these dogs too much to stay mad at them. Some of the things they do just make me crack up! How could anyone not love them!
My friends- You know who you are!!! Life would not be the same without them. I have the greatest friends. I love you guys! I love our Mondays, our “girls night out”, our trips to Rachel’s cabin, our vacations we take yearly no matter how small or big.
Ketchup- I love ketchup. Anyone who really knows me would know that I love ketchup. Ketchup is best with French fries and meat loaf! Without ketchup everything is so bland and boring. We go through quite a lot of ketchup in our house and I think I’m the only one who really eats it. ;-)
Coldplay- I love Coldplay! This is the only band that I like every single song they wrote/play. I went to their concert in November and it was the best concert I have ever been to. They put on an awesome show and they walked 3 feet from us and played a couple rows up from us. My friend Jewells and I are going to their concert in
Lilacs- There is nothing like walking outside in the summer and smelling the wonderful aroma of lilacs… and the fact that they are really pretty helps too! However, Phil is allergic to them so I can’t put them in my house. :( The only time I can enjoy them is when I am outside. When we buy a house I’m going to buy a bunch of lilacs and plant them outside! They don’t really bother him when they are outside.
Christmas trees- I love
Clean blankets and sheets- There is just something wonderful about getting into bed after you have washed all of the sheets and blankets! Everything smells so good and no longer smells like sleep and dogs!
Showers- I love the feeling right when you get in the shower and hit the hot water! It feels so good! I also love the feeling of being completely clean and then slipping on clean clothes when you get out of the shower.
Sleeping in- I love laying in bed after a long day and knowing that the next day I don’t have to get up at a certain time… I get to sleep in!!! My body doesn’t usually let me sleep in much longer but the thought is nice.
EmergenC packets- I used to drink coffee and I need that something hot to drink in the a.m. I like the pink lemonade and the raspberry and I heat up some water and drink it like tea! They are quite delicious and have a ton of vitamin C. They also give you a small amount of energy which is nice.
Sun- I love sitting in the sun taking in the rays! It is especially nice when you are at the beach but I’ll take it anywhere I can get it.
Thunderstorms- I love thunderstorms!!! I like the really loud ones that practically shake the house. And when the lightening lights up the whole night. I love the adrenaline rush when you think there may be a tornado. I love when you can actually see a tornado close to your house too. Now I’m not saying that I wish a tornado to come and destroy everyone’s house or anything! I just think they are cool. We had a tornado when I was a kid and basically left our home alone but hit our shed down the road and killed a bunch of cows and took down tons of trees.
Certain movies- I am addicted to the movie Transformers! I cannot wait until the next one comes out on June 24th. I can watch that movie over and over again and never get sick of it! Phil is pretty sick of my addiction to Transformers. I also have an addiction to Twilight but it is not half as bad as Transformers. I loved the books and the first movie was alright. I’m excited to see the next one. I’m also excited to see the new Iron Man movie and Sex and the City 2. All these great movies to look forward to!
Grilling out- I love to grill steaks, barbequed chicken, wieners and hamburgers. Nothing screams summer like grilling out and eating outside with a cold beer.
My birthday- I love birthdays, especially my own. I have an awesome birthday too because it is on Halloween.
My family- Though there has been a lot of troubles and hurt I do really love my family. I wish I were closer with my dad and little brother and I wish my mom didn’t live so far away. I would like to see my baby sister more often and I would like to see my mom’s side of the family more often. I just have to say that I had the best childhood a kid could ever have!
Over the weekend
7:55 AM Posted In dogs , house hunting , movie Edit This 0 Comments »Phil and I had our date night on Saturday and we went and saw Crank High Voltage. Now I was very, very excited to see this movie because I loved the first one. I also really like Jason Statham. However, the second one… eh, not so good. It was more of a porno than a movie. I would have to say that it is a great guy movie but there was just a little bit too much boob for my taste. Also, there were just too many stupid parts of the movie. There were too many parts where I had to ask, “Who does that?” Besides that movie, Phil and I had a very lovely weekend! I got my homework done, got the house cleaned, washed the dogs, gave Vader a facial haircut, went for a walk, watched some movies, and relaxed.
Stumped...
11:18 AM Posted In dogs , school Edit This 0 Comments »I’m still on my break from school and I’m enjoying every minute of it! I’ve actually been very lazy lately. All day Saturday and all day Sunday I just sat on my butt. I watched some movies, read my book, and even got a chance to take a nap! How nice is that! But this break will soon be ending. I will be back in school on Monday… There are a few perks to being back in school though. 1) Phil does most of the cooking so I have time to work on my homework when I get home; 2) Phil does most of the daily cleaning; and 3) I am just that much closer to being done and graduated!
My friend Jewells informed me that my dog’s sister (Misty) died recently. She was playing and was all excited and then just dropped dead. Sandy, Misty’s owner and I got our dogs for free because the family that had them couldn’t keep that many dogs anymore. Sandy thinks that she got the older of the two and I think I got the older of the two. So technically we don’t know who has the older dog and we don’t know what age they actually are. So, finding out that her dog just dropped dead because she got too excited scared me a little. Since I think my dog is the older of the two could the same thing happen to her? We assume that she is about 10-11 years old and I’ve heard that yorkies have a life span of 12-14 years. That’s sad to think that she might be gone soon… I always thought that I didn’t have to worry about her dying until she was old enough to not want to play anymore and wanted to lie around all day. But if Misty still seemed just fine and was still playing and everything can Precious die just like that too? I know it is silly to worry about something like this but I’ve just never heard about a dog that seems healthy to just drop dead.
That is about all that’s on my mind at the moment besides lunch so until next time…
Weekend
9:27 AM Posted In dogs , haircuts , sister Edit This 4 Comments »JackiLynn has changed soo much since I last saw her. She looks more like a toddler now than a baby. I wish I could see her a lot more than I do. Here are a few pictures of JackiLynn!

Phil and I have a hard time trying to keep our dogs well groomed. I love the fact that yorkies don't shed but I hate that I have to cut their hair every month or two. Vader was pretty hairy before his haircut the other week! Here's a before and after photo.
After:
The hair around his face is still pretty long but that's because he wouldn't let us cut anymore. He doesn't really like the scissors in his face. At least he can see though! It took us about an hour and a half to get his hair cut! He gets better every time we cut it though.Precious is much easier to cut. She only takes us about 30-45 minutes

Christmas was pretty good this year. I managed to fit all of my family and some of Phil’s family in. On Christmas Eve, Phil and I went over to my Dad’s house and had a nice dinner with my two brothers, Dad, and skank (Dolly). After dinner we opened presents. My Dad got me a whole bunch of meat! I got tons of hamburger, roasts, pork chops, and bacon. Yum Yum! After my Dad’s house, Phil and I went home and opened presents with the pups. Phil got me a new stereo for my car and all the things that go with it. Now I can finally play my Zune!! I got him a Zune! He has been jealous of mine since he bought me one last year so he loved it. I also got him a bunch of little stuff for his stocking. Phil didn’t try very hard this year on my stocking. He didn’t really get anything for it. :( Oh well, there is always next year!
On Christmas Day, Phil and I went over to his Mom’s house and had some lunch with her. I left a little later to go over to my Uncle’s house to celebrate Christmas with my Dad’s side and Phil stayed at his Moms so she wouldn’t be alone on Christmas. This was the first year she didn’t have Christmas at her house and the first year that her daughters couldn’t come because they live in Portland, OR now.
The day after Christmas my brothers came and picked me up in the morning and we headed over to the Brainerd area where my Mom’s side of the family is. That was the best part of Christmas for me. I LOVE my Mom’s side of the family. I also got to spend a full day with Jackilynn, my little sister. She is going to be one year old in January! She is getting so big!
New Years Eve (which is today) I’m going over to my friend Jessie’s house and we will be cooking a lovely meal with all my friends. Afterwards we will be playing games and drinking beer! This year I have decided to make a New Years resolution. I don’t usually make one but I’ve been thinking lately that it would be nice to drop the caffeine and why not start now?! I know the next couple weeks are going to be pretty tough but after that I’m hoping to feel much better. I don’t drink much caffeine but it is enough to make me have a headache if I don’t have it.
After the New Year I will be starting college again. The first quarter I only have two classes. I wanted to take four but they only allowed me to take two since I have to take these two classes before I can start any of the rest. I should be done with my degree by December of 2009! Only a year! After I’m done with college I will either stay where I am and become a paralegal, or if they don’t have the position open I will look for a position at a different office. Part of me wants to stay where I am because I know and like everyone here. Either way, I will be making much more money than I am now. :) I will pay off some bills and then start saving for a house. I’m hoping that within a year after I get a new job as a paralegal, I’ll be able to afford a house. I’ve been looking forward to buying a house for many years now!!! My dogs love it when we go to other people’s house’s because they can run and play outside. They can’t at my tiny duplex since I have a tiny, tiny yard and the road is about 15 feet from my place. Poo on that. Lately I have also really, really wanted my golden retriever. I’m waiting to get one until I have a house. We don’t want a big dog in our duplex because it wouldn’t be fair to them. Same with our cat Isabelle. She is staying at her Grandma’s house because she likes to go outside. Someday though I will have my house, my kitty and my new dog! Someday….
My poor baby :(

Very Irritating

Don't you hate it when you are reading a really good book and you finally get to the good part, the "sex" scene, and you get interrupted and can't go back to the book until many hours later that night! Well, that is what happened to me yesterday. I was reading my book (Perfect by Judith McNaught) on my lunch break and I was so excited to finally get to the sex scene. Right when I got to the good part I looked up at the clock and noticed that I had to go back to work! Then when I finally get home that night and started to read my book again, the boyfriend decides he wants attention and he interrupts me! Can't a women get a little "me" time here!? So I paid some attention to him and then told him to go away. So I finally get back to my book and then the dogs start up. Now I'm interrupted for the 3rd time! They come bring me their loudest toy that rattles and they shake it right on top of me until I throw it for them. Obviously, when I throw it they come back for more. "sigh" Maybe I will get some peace and quiet tonight?
